Associate Director – Melbourne

Systech International provides responsive, high quality managed consultancy services to contractors, supporting them in the delivery of complex and challenging infrastructure projects, on time and to budget.

Systech has a 25-year track record of success providing consultancy services over the full lifespan of projects - from bid to handover.

We are looking to appoint an Associate Director to work in our Melbourne office.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Have a strong interest in working for a British company providing construction contracts and claims consultancy services to contractors throughout the state of Victoria and South Australia.
  • Have MRICS membership status and/or a post-graduate legal qualification (LLM or Dip Arb) and at least 15 years’ experience in construction or engineering.
  • Prior experience in a construction contracts consultancy is preferred.
  • Similarly a good track record of leading and managing teams undertaking claims preparation.
  • Be able to demonstrate a successful career to date in claims and dispute related work providing independent advice on contractual entitlements, quantum matters and in preparing claims for major projects.
  • An understanding of various methods of forensic delay analysis would be advantageous.
  • Previous experience of Adjudication and/or Arbitration is an advantage.
