POSITION DETAILS
Commercial Manager – Brisbane
Systech International has an opportunity for an experienced Commercial Manager to join our operation in Brisbane.
Previous experience is likely to include major civil engineering, oil and gas, process, petrochemical and power projects with major contractors.
Professionally qualified (RICS / AIQS) with strong commercial acumen and a pragmatic approach to providing solutions, the successful candidate will be educated ideally to degree level or equivalent.
Experience and responsibilities are likely to include the following:
- Procuring subcontractors, agreeing contract terms and administering variations on accounts
- Head and subcontract commercial and contractual management
- Review of subcontractor payment requests and certification
- Regular attendance at progress and commercial client meetings
- Contract drafting and administration
- Financial management and reporting
- Cash flow and forecasting of financial positions
- Knowledge of claim, defence document preparation would be an advantage but not essential
