POSITION DETAILS
Senior Commercial Manager – Europe
Systech International is looking to recruita Senior Commercial Manager to join our team based in Europe.
Ideally you will be an experienced commercial manager with an excellent understanding of a variety of forms of contract. Your main focus will be to provide our existing client with commercial support at a senior level. Candidates should ideally have previous M&E or heavy civils experience.
The successful candidate will be educated to a degree level or equivalent, and MRICS. You will have a proven track record on similar projects, flexibility towards travel to other locations and be able to work as part of a dynamic, proactive team.
Experience is likely to include the following:
- Procuring subcontractors, agreeing contract terms and administering variations on accounts
- Head and subcontract commercial and contractual management
- Review of subcontractor payment requests and certification of the same
- Regular attendance at progress and commercial meetings with client and interfacing parties
- Contract drafting and administration
- Financial management and reporting
- Cash flow and forecasting of financial positions
- Knowledge of claim / defence document preparation would be an advantage but not essential
- Be fluent in English and a 2nd European language (German, Italian, French, Spanish)
