Breakfast Seminar - London
Aims of the course:
EOT without delay!
15 years after its initial issue, the Society of Construction Law has published the second edition of the Delay and Disruption Protocol. The Protocol has become recognised good practice for those involved with claims and disputes and the update will therefore have significant implications for the industry.
Our seminar will outline the major changes to the Protocol with a particular emphasis on the revised recommendations for the analysis of delay when assessing extensions of time. The new approach to concurrent delay will also be explained.
The seminar will conclude with a discussion on recent multiple adjudications where we were the acting for the responding party. We will examine how the Adjudicator responded to the evidence and legal arguments, and how his decision was affected by the new Protocol.
