Systech Delivers Seminar Programme in Brazil

April 22, 2015

Systech International’s Country Manager for Brazil, Ricardo Delarue, has recently concluded a seminar programme which he delivered in conjunction with Paulo Dias, the President of IBEC [the Brazilian Institute of Cost Engineering] and of the ICEC [International Cost Engineering Council for the Americas].

Events were held at 5 locations – Sao Paulo, Rio de Janeiro, Vitoria, Brasilia and Cuiaba – with Ricardo speaking on variation management and Paulo on BDI, budget difference income.

Ricardo says “I spoke about how change management systems can be used for the traceability of all the events that could impact the time and cost of a project. A further benefit is the system’s ability to predict changes before they occur, providing the project team with invaluable management information. I also explained why it is important to keep good site records from the commencement of a project and how the records are used to support entitlements to change.”

Ricardo has received excellent feedback from those attending along with requests for him to talk at other events and to deliver in-house training programmes. He will also be speaking at the 10th Worldwide Congress for the ICEC in Rio de Janeiro in October 2016.
