Systech International proudly supports The Prince’s Trust Built Environment Leadership Group (BELG) Breakfast Launch

April 30, 2014

The Prince's Trust Construction and Business Services Leadership Group (CBSLG) has been renamed and will be re-launched as The Built Environment Leadership Group (BELG) at a breakfast event supported by Systech International on Monday 19th May, in London.

BELG is a group formed by leading construction firms and industry experts to help fund and facilitate The Prince’s Trust ‘Get into Construction’ initiative across the UK, to help further tackle youth unemployment and industry skill shortages, as well as inspiring the next generation of professionals to work within the built environment.

Systech International has been a proud  member and supporter of the CBSLG  since it was formed in 2006, and Mark Woodward-Smith, our Group Managing Director is on the committee.

The breakfast launch, which will see James Wates [Chairman of the Wates Group Board] presented as the new Chairman of the BELG, provides a great opportunity to celebrate BELG’S remarkable and collaborative work in developing this unique industry-led initiative. The Group has had huge success raising over £2.5m and delivering over 140 programmes which have helped over 1,600 young people build better lives.

Systech International recently employed Tomas Dirse through The Prince’s Trust initiative. Since leaving school, Tom has had experience in the rail and retail sectors  and had plenty of job opportunities to pursue, but he  decided to work for Systech. After a successful interview he has now completed his first month with us and hopes to get into recruitment. He said “The Prince’s Trust is a great opportunity. It has been a chaotic few weeks to get where I am but their support is second to none, and it is great to have found a company who will continue to support my development.”
