Systech Solicitors Makes the Connection between Business and Art

July 14, 2010

Systech Solicitors had their first annual art competition at their Manchester office this month in a rather unique collaboration with the City's young artists. The Practice collaborated with the Department of Visual Arts at Manchester College setting a brief to paint Manchester's iconic buildings.

Well known Manchester artists Neil Roland and Sharon Campbell were the Judges awarding prizes at an event attended by clients and contacts of Systech including Clare Barlow of Arts & Business. Andrew Rimmer of Systech Solicitors presented a £500.00 prize fund to the winning entries with a stunning view of the town hall by Kate Whiteman taking top spot followed by the RBS HQ at Spinningfields by Cody Helsby and Dina Bougenna.

Andrew Rimmer said "what started off as an attempt to populate our bare walls with some art turned into a unique feel good experience that has raised our profile, done us good, and boosted the confidence of some fabulous young artists who we expect to go on to bigger and better things".
