Systech will be speaking at the Engineering Advancement Association of Japan (ENAA) on the 26th February

The Engineering Advancement Association of Japan (ENAA) has announced that Systech will be speaking at a joint seminar with AIU insurance on 26th February 2015 in Toyko.

The ENAA was established in 1978 as a non-profit organisation supported by the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry (METI). The ENAA ‘aims at developing diversified activities such as advancement of technological capabilities and promotion of technical development’ The ENAA is recognised as a major organisation in the Japanese engineering/construction industry with a membership of 168 Japanese contractors/engineering firms.

David Smith, Systech’s Director of Japan, and Shingo Ohno, Systech’s Associate Director of Japan, along with AIU representatives will be discussing ‘Risk Mitigation Measures in International Construction Projects’. Shingo Ohno will be discussing the typical risks that a contractor may encounter in international projects and the measures of risk mitigation. David Smith will follow by discussing in detail the good practices in contract/commercial management in international projects. AIU will then continue the seminar giving their insight into risk mitigation in the context of insurance coverage on the topics of; property, liabilities, bonds and political risks.
