Colin Smith is a Director based in the Middle East a region in which he has been based for nearly 30 years. He is widely experienced in all aspectsof pre and post contract works, commercial management and claim issues having worked on building and civil engineering schemes including roads, airports, dams, culverts, engineered structures, pipelines and industrial plants.

Colin has prepared numerous extension of time claims together with quantum claims for disruption, prolongation andacceleration.In addition Colin has provided dispute management and resolution services and preparation of Expert Witness Statements on quantum matters. He has also managed and successfully presented cases inarbitration where favourable awards have been issued in respect of the parties represented.

Colin is familiar with all major contract forms including FIDIC and ICE as well as bespoke contracts onmajor developments.
