Peter Phillips


Peter has 35 years' experience working in Asia and has been involved in projects across the region including in Japan, Korea, Vietnam, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Singapore, Taiwan and Thailand. He also has experience in Europe, the Americas, MEA and Australasia.

 Peter specialises in trouble shooting, the preparation of contractual claims and the resolution of disputes on construction and engineering projects including airports, industrial process plants, commercial developments, heavy engineering, offshore oil and gas, sub-sea pipelines, highways, tunnels, hospitals and rail.

He has acted as an arbitrator and a mediator and he has appointments as a quantum expert.

He is a regular presenter of training courses and he has taught construction law at a university in Hong Kong.

Peter qualified as a Chartered Quantity Surveyor in 1973, is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators and has a Masters Degree in Law. Peter is fluent in Japanese.
