Bespoke training programmes

Staff are crucial to the success of your business. We work with our clients to design and deliver bespoke training programmes to address areas of weakness, inform on new industry initiatives / updated legislation or as part of staff development. We ensure that the attendees on the programmes achieve the required learning outcomes and tuition includes workshops based on real project events that are known to the participants.

Specialist topics

There are a number of full and half day events which are particularly popular to our clients for which we have materials already prepared. These include Commercial Awareness, Notices and Record Keeping, Claims and Dispute Resolution, Construction Planning and NEC3.

Project workshops

We facilitate project team workshops at which comprehensive strategies, including easy to follow contract compliant procedures, are presented and discussed so that the obligations, ground rules and key deliverables are fully understood by the team before starting on site. Prior to the workshop we would undertake a project review.

Professional and academic qualifications

We advise and support candidates in their achievement of professional qualifications such as the RICS and CIOB. We also deliver seminars at universities as part of their academic courses.

Lunch and learn

We offer 1 hour “lunch and learn” sessions which can fit within the normal working day or form part of a full day team meeting. These sessions typically focus on specific contract issues such as records to support claim entitlements, an explanation of new legislation or the payment requirements under a particular jurisdiction.

Breakfast events

Work placements

We offer one year work placement positions for employees of our client organisations who wish to experience at first-hand and learn from working as part of a Systech commercial team on a major international project.

Systech Academy

Study with Systech for a Diploma in International Contract Management. The course comprises 4 modules; Contract and Risk Management, Contact Procedures and Legal Obligations, Planning and Scheduling and International Dispute Resolution. Each module is delivered over 4 days and provides participants with the knowledge and skills required for the management of international projects. The emphasis of the course is on practical guidance applied to real project situations and tuition is given via lectures, workshops and set assignments.
