Role
Systech have several exciting opportunities available to Delay Analysts who are interested in relocating to Australia. The role will be based in either our Sydney or Melbourne offices with regional travel occasionally required.
As a Delay Analyst, you will be responsible for providing clients with effective claims advice, based on detailed and thorough forensic examination and analysis of project information and data.
This is a consultancy role and you must therefore be able to demonstrate an ability to work effectively in a client facing environment.
Responsibilities
- To take responsibility for the delivery of professional assignments
- Knowledge of all project planning techniques
- To carry out ‘live’ planning assistance where necessary
- Carry out delay analysis autonomously
- Assist in the quantification of delay and establishing entitlement
- Supporting major claims and knowledge of dispute resolution
- To present findings to colleagues and clients
Individual
- Must be degree qualified in a construction related subject with at least 10 years in construction or engineering and having prior experience as a Delay Analyst/Claims Planner
- A sound understanding of current construction methodologies
- Full understanding of the various delay analysis methods
- Good knowledge of contract conditions and law within the construction industry
- Good working knowledge of a variety of planning software & excellent P6 skills
- Strong oral/written communication and presentation skills; An excellent organiser with proven time management skills
- Presentable and articulate
- Have a strong interest in working in Australia in the dispute field for a British company
- Be flexible to travel across the region
- UK passport holders preferred (preferable for foreign worker visa requirements) Other nationalities will be considered (visa restrictions may apply in some locations)
- Be able to demonstrate a successful career to date in claims and dispute related work including various methods of forensic delay analysis
- Excellent health record
