Role

As a Project Planner / Scheduler, you will play a key role in developing, maintaining, and analysing project schedules to support successful project delivery. Working closely with your project management and commercial colleagues, you will provide accurate schedule forecasts, identify risks and opportunities, and support strategic project decision-making.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop detailed project schedules using industry-standard tools (Primavera P6, MS Project).
  • Maintain baseline schedules, update progress, and perform critical path analysis.
  • Prepare schedule reports, look-ahead schedules, and project dashboards
  • Coordinate with project teams to collect progress data, verify activities, and assess impacts.
  • Identify schedule risks, delays, and mitigation strategies.
  • Support project planning activities including resource loading, sequencing, and phasing.
  • Participate in project meetings and present schedule analysis to stakeholders.
  • Provide schedule input for cost forecasting, change management, and claims support when required.
  • Ensure all scheduling practices align with client standards, contract requirements, and industry best practices.

Individual:

  • Proven experience as a Project Planner, Scheduler, or Project Controls Specialist in the US construction industry.
  • Proficiency with Primavera P6 (highly preferred), MS Project, or other relevant scheduling software.
  • Solid understanding of construction sequencing, project delivery methods, and field operations.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to communicate schedule impacts clearly and confidently.
  • Experience with earned value management (EVM), risk analysis, or delay analysis is a plus.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams and manage multiple project schedules.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Project Controls, or related discipline preferred.
  • Certifications such as PSP (AACE), PMI-SP, or similar credentials are an asset.
