David Yorke and Mark Simpson appointed Joint UK Regional Directors

We are delighted to announce the promotion of David Yorke and Mark Simpson to Joint Regional Directors, UK. They will report to Mark Woodward-Smith and lead the UK business with the ongoing support of Bob Chapman.
 
David and Mark will take responsibility for specific major projects whilst working with clients, David predominantly with main contractors and Mark with M+E and subcontractors.
 
They will lead work winning, service delivery, client liaison, recruitment and management issues and will run the business at a time when significant growth is forecast for the region.

David will continue to provide support to Canada and reinforce the link between the UK and Canada businesses relating to client-side work. 

David has over 25 years’ experience in the construction industry, working for Tier 1 contractors, and has held director positions including operational responsibility.  He is a Chartered Quantity Surveyor and is committed to improving business performance by driving innovation and best practice in the construction industry. An accomplished commercial leader whose experience covers a diverse portfolio of projects and sectors.
 
Mark is a Commercial Director with 35 years’ industry experience working for Tier 1 main contractors and MEP contractors. He is a Chartered Quantity Surveyor and has extensive hands-on expertise across the full lifecycle of projects, from procurement strategies to settlement agreements, as well as in claims management and dispute avoidance/resolution. He has an excellent track record of working in a range of sectors and major projects.
