Ricardo Delarue is Brazilian Civil Engineer and has gained over the last 35 years, 6 of which working abroad in Canada, Costa Rica, Peru, Chile, Scotland, England, Spain, Kuwait, Iran, Dubai, Morocco, China and Indonesia, the skills to implement and maintain Integrated Project Management Systems involving all engineering, procurement, construction, HSE and quality procedures, having also worked as expert witness in arbitrations in Brasil, Peru and England.
Ricardo specialises in Project Control Management, being also expert in performance and efficiency evaluation of projects, based on Earned Value Method (EVM) from PMI – Project Management Institute, having a strong experience in the preparation of contractual claims and the resolution of disputes. This includes analysis of performance (through EVM, cost, progress and physical measurement), delay (through forensic planning and utilisation of the methodologies identified in the SCL – Society of Construction Law’s Protocol, on which he is member), risk, productivity and forecast (including the immediate, intermediate and long-term scheduling of projects).
Ricardo is member of IBEC, Brazilian Institute of Cost Engineering, where he is MBA Master in the disciplines of Time and Cost Management, Delay, Forensic and Risk Analysis. He had also published some technical articles and a book about Delay and Forensic Analysis in 2009.
In 2015 Ricardo was certified by ICEC – International Cost Engineer Council in Remarkable Knowledge in Time & Cost Management (PHD Level).
