Systech nominated as RICS Quantity Surveying Team of the Year

We are delighted to have been nominated as one of the RICS Quantity Surveying Teams of the Year.

Paschal Baugh, our Regional Director in Australia, has said the following about our inclusion in the finalists and the hard work that has gone into being nominated:

“As a Chartered Member of RICS, it is a great honour for myself and Systech to be considered for this prestigious award. At Systech we promote all our staff to become chartered surveyors. Being a chartered surveyor is a statement that a professional has reached the major leagues and he/she is capable of offering independent advice and/or professional services to our clients.

At Systech we carefully select candidates not only on their academic and experience record, but on how they complement the working culture of our team. This approach has allowed us to establish an excellent team who offer the highest levels of professional services to our clients. Therefore, I do believe that our Systech team ARE the “quantity surveying team of the year” and I am very proud of each and every one of my staff.

Systech offers a unique owner-interaction relationship with its staff. The Group Managing Director of Systech, Stephen Rayment, is a Fellow of the RICS and he has a personal relationship with each and every member of staff. He knows all his staff by first name and Stephen himself has the final word on all new hires. This is how we maintain the highest quality and performance from our team. Everyone feels that they are part of a team and they know that they are not just a serial-number in a giant payroll. Stephen conducts video conference calls with all members of the international team several times a month with news and updates about the group both regionally and internationally. By being part of an international group like Systech, all our team are afforded opportunities to visit and have adventure in any one of the 30 countries where we operate. In all my 25 years’ experience, I can personally say that Systech offer the superior “happiness in the workplace” environment.”

The winner will be announced throughout the week of 13-17 July 2020 via the RICS digital platforms, click here to find out more: www.rics.org/auawards2020
