Beckton Sewage Treatment Works (STW) in London is one of Europe’s largest sewage projects, treating the waste of 3.5 million people. Thames Water is undertaking an upgrade and expansion of the works to treat sewage to a higher standard and increase the facility’s treatment capacity to a population equivalent of 3.9 million. The project forms part of the London Tideway Improvements programme, which is made up of three major engineering schemes to help stop sewer overflows and improve water quality in the River Thames.
Systech provided services across all three Thames Tideway Improvements projects including contract management, project planning, forensic delay analysis for an extension of time submission and expert advice to resolve delay claims.
